Communication, trust, and support are vital to a team's success. Since most of the assignments and discussions in this class are dependent on collaboration, be mindful of these characteristics.
Ten
(10) ways to contribute to your team's success
1.
Contact your team members right away when
starting an assignment.
2.
Stay in touch with each other during the
week.
3.
Work actively to gain the trust of your
team members.
4.
Agree quickly on a strategy and roles to
accomplish the week's task.
5.
Take equal responsibility for achieving
success.
6.
Contribute in a substantive and
meaningful manner.
7.
Help to proofread your team's submission.
8.
Take leadership as needed and give others
the opportunity to do so.
9.
Clarify or summarize key strategies or
steps for everyone.
10. Encourage
and support each other.
If you are not able to
participate actively due to unforeseen circumstances, let your team members
know right away. Also, inform your instructor and TA.
