Discussion about creating a digital identity and privacy issues e.g. Terms of service, Facebook settings, web browser profiling, do not track browser extensions, etc. Start a reflection blog.

Week 3 • Sep 8* • Attention & media literacy
Discussion related to media literacy & multitasking. Create additional user accounts, as needed, for social media services.

Week 4 • Sep 15 • Authenticity (crap detection)
Discussion related to authenticity of information and techniques for identifying “crap.”

Week 5 • Sep 22* • Connectivism, connected learning, learning paradigms & web 2.0.
Collaborative video project (CVP) overview. Cultural differences among student learners.

Week 6 • Sep 29 • Curation tools, participation & information sharing.
Interpersonal network behaviors.
