Week 5

ETEC 642: Week 5 • Sep 22-29 • Learning paradigms, connectivism, connected learning

The widespread use of Web 2.0 tools for communication and social media enables learners to interact with peers and work collaboratively beyond the classroom. Over the past three years, informatics students from Kansai University in Osaka, Japan successfully collaborated with students from UH-Manoa's ETEC (LTEC) department. We will continue this collaboration with the "ICT for Learning" class being taught this semester at Kansai University.

  2. What was the biggest challenge?
  3. What worked relatively smoothly, without too much difficulty?
  4. What skills or knowledge did you gain from this experience?
  5. What issues or situations will you need to anticipate in this team assignment, and how can you help to overcome them.
Write a summary statement about your personal thoughts related to this assignment. Post it to the Google+ Kansai-Hawaii Collaborative Video Project Fall 2014 community in the category "Discussion:"
